A new survey done by TextMarketer found that 48% of consumers would respond to offers via SMS. First, a few notes, this study was done in the UK, where the mObile marketing laws are slightly different. None the less, it still says a lot about SMS marketing in general. This stuff is powerful folks. It’s especially powerful when it’s used with cross marketing into other channels such as Tv/Radio/Print/etc.

C24 have a deep understanding of the hotel and leisure marketplace and deliver applictaions for a number of the largest hotel groups in the UK. Having worked in the industry it is always interesting for us to see how the industry markets itself and adopts new technology inorder to give the clients the best experience possible.
One of the big areas for hotel owners and managers is mobile application market place, an interesting study from The Knowland Group, the world’s largest data firm in the global meetings and conventions industry, highlights the following facts:
67% of respondents said that mobile apps are useful tools
54% had had no exposure to the tools
6% said that used them all the time
These are interesting responses as it highlights a potential growth area for companies who could align themselves with C24 to provide a total solution. Worth thinking about watch this space.
