It would appear that the dominance of Apple in the ‘gadget’ marketplace is increasing month on month. Today’s Daily Telegraph article highlights that children now want gadgets not toys, the top three are dominated with Apple gadgets that include iPad, iTouch and iPhone 4. The children surveyed were between the ages of 5 to 16 which will possibly mean that if Apple gets it products right over the next few years; and recent history dictates they will, the company will have a captive audience for the next 20 years.
What this means for technology company’s like C24 is that the need for bandwidth will increase, new technologies will be adopted at an ever accelerating rate and entrepreneurs will be coming out the woodwork. The next ten years could be a golden period for mobility, location and innovative apps. Watch this space as all we want for Christmas is an Apple.
