January 18, 2012C24 presented to 20 Birmingham Schools this week about the concept of mobile learning and UK based storage for student data. The event was well attended and we were asked for further meetings by a number of the Secondary schools. David Ricketts Head of Marketing for C24 said “we have a good understanding of the educational marketplace and we have been asked by a number of partners to present at such events. Mobile devices in schools is currently a very hot topic, and we are helping a number of schools in developing their future strategies.

How is education developing?
September 9, 2011Below is a great inforgraphic from Knewton highlighting how the internet is disrupting education and how future students will absorb course work in totally different ways in the future. The company argues that technology will enable a move away from a one-size-fits-all model, pointing to the growing popularity of online college courses, the rise of digital textbooks (projected to comprise more than a third of the textbook market in five years) and the idea of tech-enabled “individual learning profiles and custom solutions.”

Education in the 21st Century
June 10, 2011C24 have a real interest in education, not only because we have a number of education clients who are adopting new technologies and ideas but as a company who looks to employ the very best people it can. The challenge that education now faces is the fact that we are now living in a truly ‘glocal’ environment and certain countries have access to a larger talent pool than we do in the UK.
It really is time that we look at how we deliver education and the tools at the disposal of teachers and schools.
