Appshaker recently launched a unique way for people to interact with the amazing world of National Geographic Channel‘s content from around the globe.

Using the principles of augmented reality, people could immerse themselves in different scenes such as dolphins, leopards, the space landings, dinosaurs and more.

1000s of people interacted with the National Geographic Channel brand in the process as it toured Hungary, with 1000s more people sharing snapshots and video on Facebook as a result.

Apple shows its hand in 3D Mapping

Apple has purchased a third mapping company with the purchase of C3 technology. The solution look awesome and would really take the fight to Google. We have dropped a video below that looks at the solution running ironically on an iPad.

Nokia designs futuristic smartphone that bends

There has been a lot of talk about Nokia and the fact that it has lost its dominant position in the ever-growing mobile device market, but it may have just landed a counter punch. Their new smart phone although not released has generated significant interest. We have dropped in some video’s below that may be of interest if you haven’t as yet not seen the device. On another note the relationship with Microsoft which will probably give them access to other technologies may start to show interesting developments.
